Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To lead the congregation in praise music that honors and glorifies Jesus Christ
The Praise Team and Praise Band lead our congregation in worship through music that glorifies Jesus Christ and invites the church into the presence of God. This ministry plays a central role in creating a worship environment that is joyful, reverent, and Christ-centered.
Team members serve by using their musical gifts—vocally or instrumentally—to lead the church in authentic, Spirit-led worship. While church membership is not required, all members must be followers of Jesus who seek to live lives that reflect their calling. Faithfulness to weekly rehearsals, usually on Thursday evenings, and readiness to help lead worship on Sundays and at other special events is essential.
Beyond music, this team also ministers by fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests and fellow worshipers. Those who serve here play a vital role in setting the spiritual tone for our gatherings, helping the church lift its eyes to Christ with excellence and sincerity.
