Nominating Committee
Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To nominate to the church a roster of names of those persons who are best fitted to fill all church offices and to serve on all church committees.
The Nominating Committee Ministry Team plays a vital role in helping every part of the church body function in unity, strength, and purpose. This team prayerfully and strategically helps church members discover how they are gifted by God and where they can best serve to help others grow in Christ, encounter God, and share the Gospel.
As a member of this team, you are part of discipling others through placement, identifying servants for every ministry and committee, from children’s teaching to care ministries to deacon leadership. You’ll collaborate with pastors, ministry leaders, and fellow members to ensure each role is filled by someone spiritually ready and uniquely gifted for the work.
This ministry involves both heart and organization. You’ll help cast a vision for service throughout the year and maintain records and reports with integrity and timeliness. Through it all, you’re building up the body of Christ—ensuring that every member has a place and every ministry has the people it needs to flourish.
