At Home Ministry Team

Minister through the Homebound Ministry by bringing Christ’s presence to those unable to attend church. Through visits, prayer, Scripture, and encouragement, you help these members stay connected to the body of Christ—sharing God’s love, care, and comfort in a deeply personal way as they grow in Him from home.

Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To visit any member of the church who is not able to physically get to church.

The Homebound Ministry Team lovingly serves church members who are no longer able to attend in person due to age, illness, or physical limitations. This ministry provides a vital connection between homebound individuals and the church family, ensuring they continue to experience Christian fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual care.

Team members minister through monthly visits or phone calls, offering prayer, reading Scripture, sharing meals, singing together, or simply spending time in conversation. They also remember special occasions—like birthdays, Easter, and Christmas—with small gifts or cards, helping each person feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. Volunteers may also assist in planning birthday celebrations and communicating the needs and updates of each homebound member to the church office or team leader.

Led by a chairperson and connected through the Senior Pastor, this team is ideal for those with a heart for pastoral care and gentle compassion. Even if you’re not a church member, you’re welcome to serve. Through your presence, prayer, and encouragement, you help bring the church to those who can’t come to it—an expression of Christ’s love in action.
