Baptismal Team
Purpose (Scope of Ministry): To assist the Pastor by helping to see that the candidates for baptism are assisted and prepared.
The Baptism Ministry Team serves at one of the most joyful and powerful moments in a believer’s journey—when they publicly declare faith in Christ through baptism. As candidates are baptized, they testify to God’s saving grace, and your quiet, behind-the-scenes service helps make that moment both reverent and seamless.
Team members serve by preparing the baptistry area, assisting the pastor and candidates before the service, and ensuring robes, towels, and the pool area are cared for afterward. This includes cleaning and setting up the pool, helping candidates feel comfortable and supported, and restoring everything afterward with attentiveness and joy.
