On Novemeber 13th, 2020, Governor Northam amended Executive Order #67 with a series of instructions to limit the continuing spread of the coronavirus. Among these was a limit on gatherings to a maximum of 25 people.

However, the order was clarified to not apply to church worship services, which can continue under our current guidelines including 6-foot distancing, masks, 50% occupancy, and frequent cleaning. To learn more about SMRBC's current COVID-19 guidelines, please go to https://smrbc.org/covid-19-instructions-and-precautions.

The adjustments did include, though, an expansion of the mask mandate to include children as young as 5 years old. This portion of the mandate does apply to church attendees, as well as to any public indoor space, and we will ask our attendees to comply with this instruction while inside the church.
