ADOPT NEW MISSIONARY ORIENTATION: Prayerwalk ILC and distribute Welcome Bags

Saturday, AUGUST 8, 1:00-3:00 PM 

International Learning Center, 16492 MLC Ln, Rockville, VA 23146

New missionaries and their families are arriving at the International Learning Center (ILC) for 7 weeks of orientation and training. Getting here is always stressful for new missionaries. It comes with lots of goodbyes, leaving jobs and schools, packing not only for orientation but also for an overseas move, and often includes the disposing of homes, household goods and vehicles. They arrive excited for what is ahead, but also weary.

On Saturday, AUGUST 8, we will tour the ILC campus and distribute Welcome Bags. While walking the campus, we will pray for the missionaries and ask God to bless their extended families, their time of training, and their future ministries.

Please mark your calendar for this special opportunity to see the place that becomes a second home for missionaries.

For those who would like to carpool, we will depart SMRBC from the Warren Rd lot on AUGUST 8 at 12:30. ILC has requested that we RSVP with names to expedite entry at the front gate. Please still RSVP if you will be driving separately.
