Parent & Child Dedication

We will be having a Parent-Child Dedication time in our 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM services on November 17th, 2024. If you are an active family in our church (usually members) with a new child in the family, you are invited to participate. Families will be able to choose which service they would like to participate in on that day.

If you would like to participate - please RSVP to Pastor Dustin or the church office as soon as possible. You can RSVP by calling 804-672-6811 or emailing dmcelduff@smrbc.org.

On that Sunday we will will introduce your family to the congregation. Parents and congregation together will make commitments to God and each other for the sake of the children, and will pray together for God's blessing on you and your children as well.

Families who wish to take part in Parent-Child dedication for the first time are asked to attend the Building Block 1 Parent Seminar for parents with new children. This seminar, led by Pastor Dustin, will give you tools and resources for parenting. You can find more information about the seminar here.
