Kindergarten Graduation Service

Building Block 2 | Sunday, September 15th

Every year in September we recognize our "Kindergarten graduates" in our Worship Services, calling them forward and presenting them with a new Bible.

At this age, we encourage parents/guardians to let their elementary-aged children begin attending Worship with them one hour and Sunday School the other. Because many of our children begin attending the service for the first time as first graders, this time in the service will introduce the congregation to these new attendees. In addition, the new Bibles for these children will allow them to follow along with the sermon, as well as have a full-text Bible to explore now that they're able to read.

This year we will be having our Kindergarten Graduate Recognition on Sunday, September 15th. This recognition and gift is for any child just starting the 1st grade that attends SMRBC regularly. If you would like for your child to participate, please contact Pastor Dustin in the church office by Monday, September 9th.

If your new 1st grader usually attends SMRBC but you are unable to attend on the 15th, we are sorry that our schedules have conflicted! Please make sure to confirm that with us as well so that we can make sure to still provide your child with this great new Bible for new readers!
